Named for its ghostly, luminous white appearance and seemingly supernatural ability to vanish.

An impossible colossus standing 10 to 15 feet tall at the shoulder and weighing an estimated 2,500 pounds. It features a ghostly gray or white coat, a double mane, an 18-inch 'bell' under its chin, and a massive 10 to 12-foot antler span bearing up to 22 points on each side. Notably, it possesses normal brown eyes, ruling out pure biological albinism.

Native to the dense, remote woodlands around Lobster Lake, Maine.

It acts as a phantom of the forest, appearing and disappearing at will. It exhibits profound invulnerability, casually absorbing repeated point-blank rifle shots without flinching or bleeding.

First spotted by hunting guide Clarence Duffy in 1891, it became a massive media sensation in the early 20th century. Locals consider it less of a biological animal and more of a guardian spirit representing the untamed wild of Maine.
