Vermont
Mutant Humanoid
Northfield Pigman
Fig 1. Northfield Pigman
A mutated, swine-faced humanoid covered in white fur that exhibits psychological intimidation tactics by stalking high school students at the forest's edge.
Etymology

Named for its manifestation in Northfield, Vermont, and its distinct swine-like facial structure.

Anatomy

It possesses the bipedal physiology to walk perfectly upright like a man, but is covered entirely in coarse white fur. Biologically, it features the distinct head, snout, and features of a pig.

Ecology

Lurks in the dark shadows and dense woods surrounding the rural town of Northfield.

Behavior

It remains hidden in the tree line, emerging from the woods specifically to stalk and frighten local high school students and nighttime travelers before darting back into the shadows. It communicates through unsettling grunts.

Mythology

This localized rural legend gained traction in 1971 after the 1951 disappearance of teenager Sam Harris. It acts as a cautionary tale to keep children out of the woods, though no scientific evidence supports its existence.
